DRESS C/O BLUE VANILLA // HEELS: PRIMARK // WATCH: NIXON // CLUTCH C/O STATUS ANXIETY

Theres always one problem for me when it comes to going on a night out,the problem being...I have trouble finding dresses that aren't covered in flowers, skin tight and extremely girly, but this little number has saved my life and also counts as a staple LBD..an LBD with a difference..My favourite material...Leather.

As for the clutch, its perfect for your phone, favourite lippy and some cash,I'm so in love with the print and pony skin texture,a huge compliment to the outfit and i'll be getting tonnes of use out of it on a daily basis.

PHOTO DIARY: LUNCH AND A MOOCH

DSC00113
DSC00108DSC00109DSC00101DSC00082DSC00114DSC00112DSC00086
Most weekends, Mum and I head out to our local town for a mooch about and a bite to eat.Mainly because she needs to go to good old Aldi and I tag along because I lead a very exciting life.
This time round we stopped off at a local produce show to look at yummy cakes, flowers and vegetables (see it gets even more exciting).
Then we trundled off to our favourite hot chocolate spot where I also decided on a huge serving of garlic mushrooms on toast...it was divine.
I love little outings with the mother, even though it might be looking at farmer giles' courgette...we always have such a laugh.

5. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the Pak Choi. Tear off leaves, wash and set aside to strain.Add to a pan 1/3 full of water and let it blanch. You want it dark green in colour and
slightly crispy still.

6. Add rice to boiling water and cook to preferred texture.(ideally you want Glutinous rice for this recipes but I didn't have any to hand so used basmati).

7. Serve the chicken with the rice and Pak choi,Pour over any remaining juices for extra stickiness.

TUNIC C/O SUGARHILL BOUTIQUE // JACKET : MUUBAA // SANDALS : RIVER ISLAND // LIPSTICK : MAC 'RUSSIAN RED'

How beautiful is this dress? I've mentioned before that A/W isn't my most favourite time of the year but the print on this dress has me slightly in the mood for long walks, lit candles and dark evenings.
It will look great worn with tights or tucked into jeans for the chillier months to come.
Also talking of long walks,I thought i'd introduce a new member to the family...Betty the Frenchie. She is a little rascal but we are loving every minute of having her and she definitely loves the camera.

TSHIRT C/O BELTS BUCKLES TEES // DUNGEREES C/O ROMWE // BOOTS: ASOS

I realise I look like i've just finished a day of decorating...but how cool are these dungarees?

I've been trawling Pinterest recently and have seen white overalls cropping up everywhere,I LOVE THEM!! They are so comfy and casual and make a nice change from jeans.
Paired with a cool band tee (todays choice being the awesome Zeppelin) and some tough boots, they will definetley ease me into A/W.

How would you style them?

A/W KIMONOS

As the Summer slowly dwindles away we are having to say goodbye to our bum skimming shorts and crop tops.
It always seems a shame to me that summer style never lasts more than a couple of months and i'm constantly thinking about how I can revive some of my pieces for the colder months, one being... The kimono.
Everyone and their mother went mad for the kimono trend this summer and it looks like the trend is here to stay,I have come across some beauties which I need to get my hands on.

All available from ArkClothing

It seems if the background of the print is black then it will work for A/W.
I love how the first Kimono is styled,It's definitely something I would wear,I can see myself living in mom jeans, long sleeved tops, ankle boots and a kimono this Autumn, even a wooly jumper thrown over so you can see the kimono draping out from underneath it....Perfect!!

Which one is your favourite and how would you style it?

LEOPARD & CHECKS

DSC00090DSC00094DSC00096DSC00097
SHIRT: CHARITY SHOP // BELT: CHARITY SHOP // JEANS: RIVER ISLAND // BOOTS: ASOS

A super casual outfit today,I threw it on to run some errands but thought the patterns looked pretty cool together,I'm not a huge fan of clashing prints but these felt pleasing to the eye.

I also thought it was about time I actually wore some of the crap I'm forever buying at charity shops,I have an ongoing love for checked shirts so this little £2 number had to be added to the collection.

YOUR TEA

P1080725
I was recently contact by the lovely people at 'your tea' asking if I fancied trying out some of their detox tea.I've always been intrigued by detox teas but if I'm being completely honest I've always been put off by the price and the fact of 'Do they actually work?'
Nevertheless I jumped at the opportunity to test some out and see if the reviews were true.

My detox lasted for 14 days (3 teabags a day).It claims to gently cleanse your digestive system and reduce bloating.
I usually hate the taste of herbal tea but I was pleasantly surprised buy this one,it also smelt divine.
I added half a teaspoon of organic honey to slightly sweeten it (and to feed my honey addiction). I was a bit concerned that it would have a laxative effect but luckily it didn't ...Everything was normal ;)
I have a photo of my stomach on my instagram after my 14 days were up HERE
P1080730
P1080734
I can honestly say the difference it made was incredible,NOTHING,EVER stops my belly from bloating but the effect that this tea had was brilliant.I also found that my skin looked a little brighter and more awake.
P1080732
They do an array of different teas from 'her tea','his tea', 'energy tea' etc .I'm dying to try more.
Dare I say it but they would make great Christmas gifts for tea lovers.

I'm so pleased I tried this detox out and stuck to it,it has worked wonders and i'll definitely be buying more, might even try the 28day detox.

Let me know if you've tried it and your results.
