Apologies veggies....
These photos have been kicking around on my computer for a good month now and I thought it was about time I shared them.
I took it upon myself to cook a great big meat feast for my family one night. We had pulled pork, spicy sticky chicken wings, peppered sweet potato fries, sesame seed toasted buns and sweet slaw...it was immense.

Although it took pretty much all day to prepare, cook and serve up,it was totally worth it,extremely yummy and makes for great pictures.

Meat brings people together (silence your filthy minds)

SUNGLASSES: PRIMARK // JUMPER: NEW LOOK // TROUSERS: TOPSHOP // BAG: PRIMARK // NEW BALANCE: ASOS

Say hello to my new A/W jumper.
I'm never drawn to anything in New Look but when I saw this bright, ribbed(don't laugh),beauty hanging on the wall I was immediately smitten.
They styled it so well with a denim shirt and a tonne of pearls(I will definitely be trying that when the weather gets cooler).

I usually steer clear of colour as my hair is so bright I end up looking awful but the neon orange, textured knit was too beautiful to pass up.

COBALT & GREY

P1080710P1080713P1080707P1080712P1080715P1080716P1080717
DRESS: ASOS // NECKLACE: ZARA // WATCH: NIXON // RINGS: VINTAGE,THEJEWELLERYPEOPLE,SHOPDIXI// HEELS C/O MISSGUIDED

Its rarity to see me dressed up,I know.
My boyfriend and I were invited to a wedding last weekend and I thought as I liked what I had thrown together i'd take a few (rushed) photos,I was running late as per usual.

I received these beautiful heels a while back and wanted to base the outfit around them, whenever I see cobalt blue I instantly want to pair it with grey. The dress was a bargain of £8 on the asos sale and is the perfect length (how bloody hard is it to find a dress these days that isn't riding up around your fanny? or having the danger of your tits falling out?)

Anyway this is what I wore,it was comfy, simple and when it came to getting drunk and dancing, none of my skin was flopping out! BONUS

PHOTO DIARY: MY HAPPY PLACE

IMG_5406
Last week I took a trip to the seaside,it has become a bit of a family ritual where each year we all hop in the car and head to the beach for the day to soak up the rays and beautiful scenery.
IMG_5333IMG_5331
We've been coming to this beach ever since my brother and I were little and my parents have been shown the beauty by their parents and so on. I have so many memories from this beach/town and thats why I call it my 'happy place' Never have I had a bad day here and still to this day I get super excited about going, even if its raining!!!
IMG_5357IMG_5335IMG_5336IMG_5383
Luckily this time it was piping hot,and there was hardly anyone on the beach which is always nice, nothing worse than screaming children running around throwing sand and splashing water on you!! Instead we just had a relaxing paddle through the waves and up the sand dunes.
IMG_5337IMG_5396IMG_5397IMG_5367(photobombed by my dad)

We then headed back into town and sat on the beachfront in a lovely old fashioned pub and had lunch while overlooking more stunning views.

Overall it was an awesome day out, wish we could of stayed longer but nonetheless everything was perfect. It goes to show you don't have to fly miles to a beautiful beach or for boiling weather,I'm a huge fan of Britain's coastline and our summer in general,I think if you pick your days correctly and the company you're in,you are guaranteed a lovely day out without the jet lag or the realisation...''whoops,you can't actually afford this holiday''
